Dear colleagues, parents and patients,
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we have the honour and pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd XLH Symposium in Athens, on Wednesday, 26th September 2018 in Aigli, (Zappeion), just one day before the 57th annual ESPE meeting.
This one-day event is dedicated to X–Linked Hypophosphatemic rickets (XLH) and will bring together experts, patients and parents from across the globe to discuss all aspects of this disorder; pathophysiology and current research, clinical manifestations, challenging cases and treatment throughout the lifespan. Also, it is expected to facilitate the initiation of new partnerships, effective networking and identification of new research objectives, while, at the same time, it will hopefully give the opportunity for parents and patients to express their views and describe their experiences.
The symposium is free of charge. Further details on registration and full programme will be provided on the Symposium website as it becomes available.
We look forward to seeing you in Athens and we sincerely hope that this event will contribute to a better understanding of this disorder and a more effective communication between everyone involved.
Best wishes from Athens!
